4/08/09 John Legend Concert in Shanghai

Me and Elena decided to hit this up last minute.  The venue was super small which was cool because we were so close (16th row), but the sound system sucked something horrid.  Basically you could hear bass, and John Legend’s voice.  I felt bad for the guitarist because you could see him playing…but you could not hear him.  The dude (Vaughn Anthony) who opened for JL was pretty good, your standard fare male R&B vocalist, but I learned later that he’s JL’s little brother and backup singer.  Talk about the hooks.
