Al Capone Does My Shirts

April 2nd, 2007

Last night I finished reading “Al Capone Does My Shirts” by Gennifer Choldenko. I’m not much of a reader but I’ve been more interested in reading lately. I think this book is geared for younger audiences but I liked it a lot. It’s about this kid named Moose Flanagan who lives on Alcatraz because his dad got a job being a guard. Moose’s sister is autistic and an interesting aspect to the story. Now, when I drive to school, I look at Alcatraz as I pass by it and think about this story. I really want to go there now and see if I can see things described in the book. The book was awesome and it had a cool ending.
