This is sort of old news but peep this thing out. It’s sort of like a Casio keyboard where all you have to do is press the buttons to “play” a song, but this is in lazer format. These guys are totally getting into it too. Sure, looks like a gaggle but for $299.99?

My Batteries Are Dead, Can I Borrow Some Urine?

Yes! We can finally do something with our piss instead of flushing it down the toilet. Check out this ‘NoPoPo’ battery that has been developed in Japan. Apparently when you add pee (or saliva or beer (who would waste their beer?)) it mixes with the magnesium and carbon in the battery and produces power. Plus, according to the manufacturer, the battery will live for 10 years using your ‘power juice’! So next time someone asks why your remote smells like urine, you can give him an honest answer!

Asahi Barley Drink

Last night when me and Elena were coming home from a night on the town we stopped at the Lawson on the bottom floor of our building to pick up some water bottles. What I saw in the cooler astounded me; it was what looked like a soda made by Asahi! I was enthralled and full of joy as the idea of a beer soda filled my senses. I paid the cashier the 3.5 RMB (about .50 cents) for the drink and we made our way upstairs. I openened the bottle and took a whiff of the beverage. Two things I noticed:

It was not carbonated.
Smelled pretty bad.

I’ve made homemade beer in the past, you know the smell of boiling mash? Well, that’s what it smelled like. Not really something you’d want to drink. I had come too far to give up here though so I proceded to take a gulp. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
