So we got the Alfred Hitchcock movie “Rear Window” from Netflix the other day. Elena didn’t want to see it at first because she thought it was going to be scary. I eventually conviced her that it wasn’t. It’s about this dude with a broken leg who is confined to his apartment. After learning his neighbors routines by watching them through his window, he notices a suspicious situation and believes one of his neighbors killed his wife. I think this is acctually the first Hitchcock movie I’ve seen, other than the remake of Psycho. I think the style of filming is interesting. It seems like back then they focused more on telling a story than on special effects and stuff like that. I’ve got a few more Hitchcock films lined up in Netflix but the plan that I have is only two movies a month so I have to way until April 18th. I should just suck it up and pay the extra five a month for unlimited movies.
