Hey Garrett,
Thanks for the quick response! I was afraid of that... I played with it the other night & it was a real pain in the ass to program! I'm not a keyboard player (I play guitar) so I'm having a bit of a hard time. I've been trolling the forums with no luck. Oh well... I'll keep looking & playing with it. It's fun anyway!
Thanks again!

Hi Lisa,

That's cool that you busted out your old Six-Trak. You can't really, as far as I know, buy or install new sounds. You just have to program them in yourself and that just takes some tinkering. If you look in some forums I'm sure there are some people who post what settings they use for certain sounds.

The Six-Trak is a true synth, so most sounds you mimic will always have that synthy sound. I would say you'd have the best luck going for a nice string sound. The sounds I have in this post are actually samples taken from my Six-Trak for use in Logic Pro, ie using a MIDI controller.

Hi, I just unearthed my old Six-Trak and was wondering if anybody has any new programs - more real sounding organs (Hammond, Farfisa), piano, strings, horns? I'll buy whatever is available if it's not too expensive and more authentic sounding. THANKS!
